Events & Exhibitions Security Management

The mission of the Our event security team is to provide a safe, secure environment for our patrons, exhibitors, performers, and staff.

Each event will have its own unique goals and characteristics, taking into account the demographics of those attending and those entrusted with providing security. For this reason, an assessment should be undertaken before every significant event to determine how best to manage such events’ safety and security issues.

Some of the ways Our security staff can enhance safety and reduce incidents at events are by:

They maintain order, Searching Attendees for Prohibited articles, provide information to guests regarding procedures, protocol, emergency exits, etc., inspect any person or vehicle who wishes to enter an area where special events are being held.

Our security staff always be present during load-in and load-out times and set up days for exhibitors/performers at large venues that require additional support. This allows our security guards to identify areas outside their realm of control that may pose problems before they happen. To this end, all involved in the planning stages of security personnel must be informed to develop and implement an effective security plan.

The following are some factors that should be considered when planning for events and exhibitions:

The purpose of the event

Venue layout

Capacity of the venue

anticipated Attendance

Nature of the event

Security risks associated with the event

Proposed security measures and how they will address the identified risks.

Staffing requirements for the event

Budgetary constraints.

When selecting a security contractor, it is essential to ensure that they have experience in managing large-scale events and have a robust safety and security protocol in place.

We at ABI patrol also provide a comprehensive proposal outlining our proposed safety and security measures for the event.

We ensure that all our staff is uniformed to help avoid confusion among patrons/attendees and have identification badges to identify them readily.

Our Security Guards are trained in search procedures involving large numbers of people congregating, both inside and outside venues. This includes having vehicle searches at venues hosting outdoor events or exhibitions that could be vulnerable to car bomb attacks.

Searching staff can either work in teams or conduct individual pat-downs of persons suspected of concealing weapons on their person under clothing, without contact with other parts of the body, including genitals. Our security staff is always aware of potential hazards and responds to emergencies.

When planning for events and exhibitions, safety and security should be top priorities for event management. By implementing a comprehensive security plan that considers the specific risks associated with each event, management can provide a safe and secure environment for all attendees.
